Default head gasket

I'm going to be doing my head gasket soon. When i replaced my water pump I had a very difficult time when i got everthi9ng back together getting the air pockets out of the system. I called a land rover dealer and they told me I had to jack up the front end run the car and drop her down then slowly unscrew the overflow resevior then jack up the rear end run it and then do the same at the over flow resevior. Anyone have any easy remedies on getting the air pockets out when i do my head gasket??? I hope im using the right treminology???

When you get ready to bleed it, send me your number and I'll walk you thru it the proper way.
Where are you getting you parts for the next job, will you also be replacing your wires and t/stat?

Refer to the sticky above, remember that you can pull the resevoir off of the rubber mounting points, lift it above the bleeder valve. It makes things a great deal easier. A local shop also swapped the two heater hoses that go to the firewall, not sure why but it worked. All the best. Phil
