I don't know what is going on. The coolant does not seem to be going through the radiator. The Top Drivers side is hot, the rest cold. The Heater is blowing very hot, and I have a second brand new genuine 190 thermostat in the car.

Is it possible I have air trapped in there?

Well, I emptied the radiator, and it did gurgle. I did a 25 minute cure for the exhaust manifold paint to cure it, and did not follow the bleeding procedure exactly, so maybe I got some air caught in the radiator or something.

I followed the procedure got it to running temp and shut it off. Will allow to it cool down really well, and top off, and see how it goes.

Boiled the 180 thermostat, it's good. Wish I would have boiled it before walking to the dealership. Patience isn't my virtue.

Got a good test drive in yesterday, and a round of golf.

She ran 198-204, 204 only briefly.

The engine feels really really good. The throttle response is better, and better I can remember it being.

I am drivjng to Minneapolis this week, so am going to monitor mileage. Last trip I think highway was 15.2. Going to put in an oil cooler while I have use of my Dad’s garage.

56 front nine, 44 back nine. A couple caveats, I haven’t swung a club in four years, no range time, and my clubs are in storage so I used my friends Dad’s old set.

The driver I had was cut short, so I used a 3W all day, and my distances were way off, but the clubs honestly felt pretty good. Started putting well on the back, and all things considered, really happy with how I played after that long of a layoff.

Gotta note this here. The old 180 thermostat opened in boiling water, but not in the car.

New 180 Genuine from Roversnorth did open in the car.

If the thermostat wasn't opening, your temps would be a lot higher than 204
