Default didnt we talk about this..

Didnt we talk about this...none of them last ...not one or it would not be every other post on the forums. It's a 98...why dont you try steel seal? what have you got to loose... If you plan on keeping it you have other options. Get another motor and rebuild with top hat liners and "Better Gaskets" ...geezzz....enough with the crap head gaskets already..or do the head gasket yourself ....

Thats if you want to keep it.. If i am not mistaken your 98 DI running is worth about the same as a 04 DII not running. They both would need to tear down the top half... tough call.....i think requires more beer....

Easy there bro....no caps on this end.... what i was saying was, if they fail, where's the quality? Try this company: http://www.cometic.com/

There about $100,00 a piece. At least if it ever does bow up it wont be at the head gasket's.... They make these for top fuel car....I also have another place for head bolts if you are intrested in.....

Keep a happy face..

Whatever you do buy new headbolts or the job is screwed.

And they aren't too bad on your truck. but are you certain its the head and not the intake?
