Default Head Gasket Questions

Hello, everyone.

I have a couple of questions. I've done the tear-down on my girlfriend's 2000 Land Rover Discovery 2. I'm working on doing the head gaskets. We bought a kit from roverparts.com, I forget the exact part number, but it is the only full kit available for the car on that site.

This is the first time I have done head gaskets on a larger engine, such as this. The car has a 4.0L without the SAI stuff on it.

Anyways, I have a couple of questions that I would hope to have answered from some of the more experienced Land Rover owners.

1. When I was taking the engine apart, I didn't remove the fasteners from the lower intake manifold or the heads in the order specified in the RAVE manual. Will this be a problem, or is there anything I can do about it?
2. Similarly, I didn't realize that I needed to mark the positions of the pushrods as I removed them. Will this cause any problems if I reassemble them in basically random positioning?
3. I have attached some photos of parts that came in the gasket kit. There are eight, somewhat large, rubber rings. Any idea where these go? I haven't seen anything like this in any of the parts that I have disassembled so far.
4. Similarly, there are two similar copper washers, a larger copper washer, and what appears to be a zinc-coated steel washer. What might these go to?

Thank you for taking the time to answer my stupid questions.
