if the bleeder screw in the coolant hose is still plastic, you should replace with a brass one. the plastic one likes to break.

it is the plastic one and I have the brass on order. I've been searching the web trying find a silicone hose kit for the v8 but the only one I have found so far doesn't ship to the United States n that blows!!!!!

why not do the inline thermo mod? Looks great, keeps temps stable and is easier to work with.

well the factory set up with the actual Land Rover grey 180 degree thermostat has done well for me and never caused me any issue. If it does, I might go to the inline mod but for the time being, I'm leaving well enough alone for now. I will probally do it after I do a lift and roof rack and bumpers, then I'll probally do it. I actually waiting to see what Joe does about the thermostat on the intake.

Thats and I have been eyeballing that tig welded "t" from the great white north. I would just hate to have spent $70 on that new factory 180 degree thermostat only to put it on the shelf and do the inline mod. I figure the inline mod will be done after I get the lift and bumpers. I'm hoping by that time Joe (chubbs878) might have the specs and his idea done of the thermostat in the manifold like a g.m. set up.
