Thanks for the heads up! I meant to get the coolant out Parts on on the way. I am going to get with machine shop later today or tomorrow hopefully have her running again in a couple of weeks.

Pic shows vacuum vacuum valve for the brake vacuum line. It's really expensive like $30

How do I remove the old one? should i just pull it out? Wish the old one had not messed up. But it was broken and the vacuum line was stuck in it. It finally broke after I messed with it awhile.

one more How should I clean intake manifolds?

Thanks

Default In search of "In search of the experience"

Looks like their website is gone, as go daddy now has a splash page on the domain. I am doing HG replacement in a couple weeks. I like the links that were posted on this thread already but wondering if anyone can mail me their copy of In Search Of DVD.. I can throw someone some cash via paypal if anyone wants to sell me one...

You'll probably break your head or neck but...

That is a push to connect fitting, you push the red lip in and pull the tube out.

Looks like your head gasket was probably bad in cylinder #1 or #2 on that HG depending on which side that HG came from.

Looks tired and crushed by the coolant jacket.
And that's fine.

Put a new one in and you're set.

Victor Reinz works well.
