Default Head stud kit. Best place to buy?

Ok, I'd like to order these by the end of the day, but I want to make sure I'm getting the right ones and for the best price. Figure I'd drop this out there before I order.

I have a 04 Disco II 4.6 I'm rebuilding and need to bolt the heads back on soon.

What's the best ARP head stud kit to get, and where?

Thank you!

Yep, Lucky8 was the cheapest I found.

Be sure to read the directions and you might want to google torques, because people have experimented a bit with the studs to find the 'right' torque.

Thanks.

that is a very good price if it is the ARP kit (157-4301) not the old kit (124-4003) which is half the price and made for metal head gaskets not composite gaskets.

From what I've heard, studs aren't really recommended unless you will be tearing the heads off semi regularly. Since they are harder then the head bolts they won't pull the threads down and lock in good, eventually they will back out and cause you to need head gaskets again. I would recommend just sticking with regular head bolts, there's no problem with them other than having to replace them every time you take your heads off which is anything but often.

From what I can find from poking around for a few minutes that's about the average price for the old buick set 124-4003 for metal gaskets.
The price for the correct set 157-4301 with the extra thread engagement for composite gaskets and 10 bolt heads is closer to $200.
Odd they don't put the part # in the item description. Maybe they carry both sets?
I'd ask!

The ARP kit we are selling is for composite gaskets. We put them in all our own personal trucks with Elring gaskets as well as all customers trucks we rebuild here.

That's a good price then. Do they ship in the ARP 157-4301 box?
