Headgaskets or what?
It isn't really. It's about as hard as removing the entire intake and plenum. Just replace anything in there parts wise that you find questionable. And remember where the long bolts go.. There are 2 different length bolts that hold the water pump and timing cover on the block.
unfortunately, this is where i though you would end up.
the biggest PIA is you have to drop the oil-pan in order to get the front cover off.
crank bolt is the hardest part you need to break that free it is torqued to 200 psi.
fairly basic just a lot of bolts to pull and replace.
if you haven't done it before i suggest you lay all your gasket on to a piece of cardboard and spray with gasket cement.
this will leave an outline on the cardboard as you remove a bolt stick it into the cardboard, then you will know where to return them.
get the rave and study it (but it is incorrect) on the number of oil pan bolts there are actually two more than it tells you.
there are a few other tricks pm if you want them.
ps if you're going in there i would replace the oil pump and timing set while i was their.

Sounds like my sunday is planed for me to be in the garage all day. What is the easiest way to get the bolt off the crank pulley. I heard a breaker bar and bumping the engine was a way to do it. I just dont want to buy the factory recomended tool for one job.
