Hey. I'm considering a projector lens retrofit for my truck. Unfortunately, the stock 2001 lens has "lines" molded into the lens, which would interfere with the beam. I looked at a couple of pictures of the 03-04 headlights, and it looks like the lens is perfectly clear. Can anyone confirm? If so, I'd be looking at both the 2001 to 03-04 conversion, as well as the retrofit. Will probably be cost prohibitive. Anyone know of an aftermarket 201 headlight with clear lens?

Yes, the 2003 and 2004 have lenses that are completely clear. And plastic to help that poor pedestrian that might get hit my our cars. Like it would really make their day that much better. Any way, the plastic starts off clear, but it can turn cloudy after a bit of time.

 

Keep in mind, if you're talking HID projectors, they are illegal in your situation.
