I ran mine around for at least 6-8 months without a headliner in it, the only time I noticed any noise level difference was when it was raining and the car was parked. Sounded like a metal roof on a house..go figure. After I reinstalled the headliner, you could tell a difference in interior sound deadening when you talk, like sheetrock in an interior of a house vs. just timber framing. I thought about putting some stick on sound deadener in, but only for heat reduction (possibly) on hot summer days...Im not sure any of that would even make a difference, so I didn't worry about it.

best $280 spent. If anybody around bham needs any upholstery work, I know where to take it to now. Most places wanted $500 plus

Interesting. Mine didn't have the wrinkles in the corners like yours. At least not nearly as pronounced.

 

I found some off brand dynomat on amazon I figured for the price I would try it. If anything maybe it will help with insulating some of the heat.

That did come out great, looks clean and after seeing that I can say I don't mind the black on beige. Almost worth the drive up to Alabama for 280 dollars and that quality of work.

 

i saw a few others like that's headliner wise n liked the contrast of colors. They also have 3 locations in Georgia. N not to get side tracked but the quoted me $1200 to redo all 7 seats!!!
