Hey, sorry for the delay. Was out on vacation a bit. Alcántara is very expensive, a piece that is 36” x 58” is $130 on amazon! Joann’s Fabric shop carries mico fiber Passion suede fabric that is about $20 for the same size. Im just not sure how they compare. Thats awesome you are wiring for ham. I need to renew my ham license and will be adding antenna, and I also have a full Rhino Roof rack, that I want to wire forward and aft lights on. I hope you post your mods.
I am going to Joann’s and do some research. I’ll try to get back to you soon.
Regards.

Thanks, I would spend the money on the Alcantara, The ham radio is installed and the antenna mounted on the right rear or the Voyager roof rack. I'm also installing a couple of rear lights on the rack since it has the tabs for them. I'll upload some pics when I get the truck back from the shop. Im also removing my rear 3rd row seats so that I can install some oem storage bins that came on SE & HSE models.

I have samples coming in for microsuede from the below. It goes for $12 yd. Alcantara is a brand from Italy and pricey. Probably lots of quality levels for micro suede or faux suede which is what it is. Since the headliner is not a true wear surface like a seat or steering wheel I think a cheaper option might be fine. Alcantara does not wear well on a wear surface, just ask the BMW M guys.
