Default Heat goes cool...

I researched some of the threads on this because they seem to be everywhere. Apologies in advance for making yet another thread.

Was driving home from work the other night and all of a sudden the heat went cool...turned up the temperature a couple of degrees and it was hot again....no issues.

Then it happened again a couple of nights later. Did a little digging on the website and I checked my coolant and it is at the right mark...no coolant loss anywhere (as I ahven't needed to add since i have owned - 3/10). Also listened for the "wooshing" sound which would indicate that there was air in the system.

Also, cleaned my temp fan even though the heat was not on auto, just a constant 62 degrees.

Any thoughts on things I can check?

Do you have the climate control in "auto" mode? Could just be it reached temperature.

Mine does this as well. The best I can figure is your cabin was above the temp you had set on the control. In auto mode the system keeps it at what ever you set it on.

sound logic except that i don't have it set on auto i use the econ setting and pick the temp so that the air coming out will be consistent.

if i am missing something let me know
