Guys, I just installed new suspension components, and the truck is driving great. Now that it's tight, I'm hearing an annoying rattle coming from under the car when I hit bumps. I got under there yesterday and poked around, and the heat shield seems loose to me.
If I push on it, it will move around vertically, maybe 3/4" or so?. I think it's the source of the rattle. While it's still there, it looks like a part is missing. Some bolts are holding it on, and they seem fairly frozen.
How are these things installed? Are they just a sheet of metal, or is there padding on the back? Any other recommendations?

Hat shape threaded nuts at the tips of fuses, several flavors :
If you have a Rover that has seen plenty of winter and salt those studs/bolts are rusted/seized. Years ago I took electrical wire and wrapped it around each stud/bolt. Push the shield up and wrap. Finish the wire off over the cross member or exhaust hanger. Provides a little support for the shield. Rattle gone and you can't see it
