Heated front and rear windshield just turned on out of nowhere?

You most likely just hit the Defrost button which will turn on the window defrosters.

It's probably your AC climate control. It controls the RHW too. Probably it's the logic dicided to turn it on maybe to prevent it to become foggy...

Probably was below freezing and the BCeM turned these on.
