Heater Hose question?

My heater hose was leaking awhile back and I replaced them with 3/4 hose. If the hoses are switched to the wrong side could this cause temp problems, the heat works fantastic but I have looked at different rovers and everyone I look at is different, does anyone have pics to make sure I have them routed correctly? Thanks

On a DII I think it matters more than a DI.
Only because the DII thermostat re-routes coolant to the heater and then uses the heater as a radiator while at idle.
If the hot coolant is going into the cold side of the heater and coming back out of the hot side I dont think it will cool as efficiently.
The radiator/heater both cool from top to bottom with a cross flow, hot coolant comes in the top flows across and settles to the bottom as it cools.
If the hot is coming into the bottom it will not cool as much because the cooler coolant will still try and settle to the bottom which is where the hot is coming in if it is routed wrong.
The RAVE manual will have the correct hose routing.
