Not sure about local parts store, part number ERR6434 If I recall correctly.

...guys a little help, I'm trying to remove that same pipe, got both bolts out, detached the rubber hos, but no matter what I try, I can't get it to pull it out, thought it was a pretty straightforward thing, but I hit roadblock; your feedback will be very much appreciated, thanks in advance!

 

Don't know what to tell you about removal. Pry bar? But the O-ring part number is correct - ERR 6434. Atlantic British lists it at $1.95 but the shipping would probably be much more than that. This is one case where your local Land Rover stealership may be your best alternative. Or I can send you the spare I have on hand.

 

...thanks mln01! ...I just wanted to confirm nothing else to detach, and all was left was to pry it out with patience. As per the piece, I've had it for quite long time, bought it amongst other things I needed a few months back, it was a job I had put in the freezer but decided to do, thanks for the offer, but no need! ;-]#

 

ACE hardware will have it. I wish I had one of these pipes laying around so that I could take it to my new part-time job with me and find you one. You can find O-rings not only in the nuts and bolts aisle, but also with the plumbing supplies (usually hiding in a small chest of drawers on the bottom shelf.)

 

...thanks chubbs878, I'll swing by Home Depot on my way home after work for the pry bar, think ACE is way out of my way ...as per the "O-ring", I already had it ...as per the pipe itself, I've been offered one in less than $25 that seems to be just fine since the actual one I don't think will make it through alive! ;-]#

...got everything back together, turned the key, the truck wants to start but doesn't, sounds something electrical, as soon as battery was connected, blinkers came on and don't go off, even with the key out, any clues?

 

Hmm. Yeah. Unlock doors with key. Put key in ignition. Turn to position two. Leave key. Roll down driver window. Leave driver door open. Unhook battery. Touch battery wires together. Let them sit 5 minutes touching each other. Hook back up to battery. Drive away happy (hopefully).
