I tend to learn from others mistakes.

Thanks!

If a business makes a stupid decision such as this one, and then they don't back it up...what's that say to the rest of us? How are they making decisions? No thought process?
Screw the customer?

Michael,

I am sorry about this, but we cannot afford to eat the shipping. It totaled $466/delivered on something we charged $888 for. I had to make this uncomfortable decision with 8 other customers besides yours. We recently did a UPS audit to find that we were being charged an oversize fee of almost $500 for each of these that we delivered via UPS ground. We were told by our rep that these didn't dim out and that the $100-120 we were paying was sufficient. To date we have lost over $4,000 that we cannot get back so we had to make this decision, albeit unpopular, we had to. We are a small business, not Wal-Mart and a $4,000 loss hurts, but an $8,000 loss is just not doable for us.

That being said, I am not sure what Steve offered you but I am willing to send you a Britpart DA5645 and matching lightbar as shown above at cost. That I the best I can do. Again I am sorry that it came to this, but hopefully this sheds some light on our situation and the reasoning as to why it happened.

Try living in Canada and looking into ordering a bumper. I'll end up paying about triple what you guys pay down there. So far I have quotes all over the map for bumpers of all types. From $950 shipped for a Britpart to $2200 for an ARB. There is a small shop that seems quite positive they can get me an ARB for $1500.

On another note, I've never had a problem with Lucky8, even though they always have to call me back to increase the shipping costs since Canada sucks for delivery charges

have them delivered to my house, drive down, install, go out on the trails, go home, save money
