!!!Just got the Disco fixed, replaced all fuses pertaining to brakes and cruise. Replaced brake light bulbs and adjusted the brake switch out one click. Trailer wiring was faulty and pretty crappy at that. Pretty much bad trailer wiring was the root of all this mess. Thank-You so much for your insight and help!

GOOD JOB! Glad to hear of your success. We all make dumb mistakes at times. I would suggest you take some time and learn as much about your vehicle as possible to really enhance your enjoyment of it.
They can be great when they are running fine, a challenge to deal with when they are acting up. If you are like most dedicated Discovery Owners you will develop an appreciation in resolving the issues that do pop up.
Feel free to ask any type of questions you may have. The better description/information you provide, the better answers you will get.
Welcome to the challenges of Discovery ownership.

Remove your trailer wiring that you installed and get one of these, guaranteed to work and it is plug and play.
Because European cars and trucks use separate turn/stop bulbs they require special care when wiring for a trailer.
It is always best to spend the money and get the correct kit.
