NW-I know that it can be easier to talk on the phone. I also have people send me PM's and e-mails and ask for help. And if he wants to talk to somebody on the phone that is fine too.
TheONLY point that I was trying to make was that rather than your first reply to a question be "call me" try and help on the forum first. Thats all.
Dont jump to the phone first, use the forum first. If the person is still having trouble then talk on the phone.
Either way the repair needs to be posted by somebody so that the rest of us can learn and anybody searching can maybe find the answer, not a "call me" and then thats the end of the thread.
Thats all. Just trying to keep the info flowing for the mass's.

Default RE: height sensors

Hello all,

why I think I need the sensors.......99 disco II, the air pumps works really good, when i park the truck, the back end I can hear going down then the sensor kicks in to stop the sinking, sometimes it goes all the way down, sometimes it takes days. I know the system is not air tight, but it seems the sensors sometimes let the back all the way down in just a few minutes, As I am writing this, the truck has not gone down at all , for days, it seems to working fine for now.

I was just courious is this the sensor, fuse, etc....checked for leaks..found none.

Thanks
Ralph

Probably not the sensors. You can have a major air leak in the spring that may be sealed by the cone at times and completely unsealed at others, use the system to jack the rear all the way up and spray the springs with soapy water to check for leaks, also check as it is coming back down as well. It might take a while, so don't be quick to rule them out.
