Hi boys!! Miss the forum, but hopefully be back soon with plenty of questions on how to fix my new Disco

Ready to by #2. #1 was 2001 SE7 and crossed the rainbow bridge last March when totaled.

I am looking at a couple different ones and cannot make up my mind!!!

I am really liking a 1997 Disco I, 7-seater, waiting for more information from the seller, but she looks nice.

Also looking at another 2001 Disco II. I still have #1, so I know it makes more sense to buy another '01, think about all those parts I have at my disposal.

Just curious your preferences between I's & II's, and why.

Welcome back!

I started Land Rover ownership with a D1. Now that I have a D2, I never drive my D1. If you were interested in really off roading and building your truck up, a D1 wouldn't be a bad option.

D2 is more refined and comfortable.

Since you have a D2 parts car, it's a no brainer.

Additionally, white is the best color hands down(my opinion).

 

Hi Abran! I agree, guess I just wanted someone to agree with me ;-)

I really want a "01 white DII SE7, tan interior (best for my dirt farm). The one I am looking at is just that. It is not passing smog, per owner due to bad oxygen sensor (sheesh - I can do that!). Waiting for him to provide copy of the smog results. Friend has an OBD II scanner I'll take with and run a scan on any DII I look at.

I feel so grown up.

 

Take your time. There are good deals to be had, just need to look.

If you want to pm/email/text me with some numbers(mileage and cost) I can give you a sanity check.
