I left the scaner pluged and i went for a drive. what i did notice is that the speed that the scanner was reading was way off. at times reading 180 kph when im doing 50kph.

i did some poking around on the net and i noticed that some guys with my similar issue had bad VSS.

what do you guys think?
P0307 Misfire on cylinder 7
P1313 Misfire Catalyst Damage Fault Bank A
P1316 Misfire Excessive Emissions Fault

Yes, you can check the VSS thru your cruise control ECU. Find a good ground then back-probe on the ECU wiring harness on terminal 11 (should be a yellow wire) Spin the rear tire tire (or drive it) at 3mph. The voltage should be 2.5volts, but may vary between 0 and 5 volts.

It is on the bottom of the trans, near the output shaft if I remember correctly.
You will need a allen head socket and 12" on extensions to reach it.
No sure what size allen.
