Default HELP with ABS CODE 1592

If any of the LR Techs on the site can help. I have a p1592 code that is coming up on my 99 Disco II. I had it at my local dealer Larchmont, NY and they could not figure it out. It reads as a short between the Slabs ECU and the battery. They thought it could have been wiring underneath that was either damaged or shorting out when touching something else so they wrapped a few wires but the code came back. I'm waiting as they said after a 20 mile drive it popped up. I will take her out tomorrow and give her another 20 and see if it comes back. Does anyone know if driving with this rough road ABS signal could damage the engine in any way? timing or something else? Thanks in advance for your help.

- Truck is idling and running great
- ABS still works.

No this code will NOT hurt anything.
It is not engine related, it is ABS related so the worse that will happen is you wont have ABS.

Default Thanks Spike

I had spoke to DiscoMike and he had said the same thing the only thing he had heard once was that eventually it could effect the timing, but he didn't believe that to be true. We shall see what happens in two weeks I'm driving from NYC down to Charlotte.
