I need the part outlined in red. What is it called?

parts breakdown doesn't give it a part name or number, only listed as part of air cleaner assembly.

Yep. And that little connecting hose? Over $100. That's the reason I ended up making my own intake, I didn't want to replace that piece and if I was going to be taking in hot engine bay air then I was going to take in as much as possible.

OverRover, on your link, the middle part that is brownish, is what I really need to replace. There is a hole in it that the PO tried to epoxy up.

Yes, I'm trying to find out what that part is called. I know that it is part of the whole air box, however, that part can be removed and sold separately.

Can that brownish middle area just be taped over really well? What is the function of it being soft and cloth like?
