Throttle cables only go one way or they'd cross each other never moved adjustments. Iacv never came off plenum. I drained coolant on vehicle due to movin heater hoses didnt want to chance coolant getting into plenum got all air bubble out of system seemed to help. But like said backed out to let sit while went to lunch came back started just loped. There are tabs on the lower intake te the upper plenum sits on I cleaned around them to get a good fit when putting back together I made sure it sat flush on the lower being that ive never done that much to a land rover was a 1st timer job on one. I took my time in checkin it due to that fact. I do get a humming out of the Iacv. Don't know if tht is anything to do with it.

Aarongregor bout 30 minutes from Harrisburg pa. Don't worry bout being a jerk I'm open to anything but I have checked that because I feel it's something small but I think I'm over thinking it. My boss is gone for the week and he gets more in depth with diagnosing so my back bone is gone have nothing to turn to.

I had all of the same codes and same symptoms, replaced MAF, replaced TPS, cleaned IACV , didnt solve.

turns out my truck was suffering from a rushed engine swap with a Range Rover 4.6 prior to me taking ownership.

Interestingly enough, the problem only developed AFTER i drove the truck 900 miles home to Seattle from LA after buying it

Jahn jumped onto this forum to explain in greater detail what he did when he fixed it. I was at a loss because nothing like this was documented in the RAVE.

https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...5-45643/page2/

The reason that i'm posting here and reposting the link is that you mention valve cover gaskets, a similar problem area to that which i encountered.
