Default Help with CD Changer Problems

Just bought my 03 disco. It has the factory cd changer under the passenger seat. When I load the changer full with the 6 cd's and select CD option from the headunit, it goes and grabs each CD spins it the changes to the next one until it cycles through all 6 cd's then quits. Is there anything to do to reboot or fix the problem? If not what is the correct CD model number so I can just replace the changer?

Is there a code showing on the radio? Are these CD's factory or copies?

It just shows CD mode on the headunit and 000 never shows a number to the CD on the headunit it grabs. The CD's are Factory new cd's not burned copies.

About a month after getting my D2, the cd player crapped out. All it did was click like it was changing cd's but it never stopped, even when the engine was off. Given the cost of one of those units I suggest looking into an iPod adapter for your truck. Even if you don't have an iPod it'll be cheaper to buy one and the adapter than a replacement cd player.

Sounds like your CD changer crapped out. There should be a reset button on it somewhere, maybe on the back of it.

Turn your CD's over. They load backwards. Read the magazine really closely and try again.
