Disco '00 CD changer problems
Hi folks,
I've scanned the existing posts on this topic and though I found some folks experiencing the same problem as mine, I didn't see a solution posted so am starting a new thread.
Shortly after putting a new battery in my disco the CD began displaying "CD Error." I ejected the magazine and checked each holder, re-inserted the magazine and all was fine...for a day. After putting in some new CDs I noticed that the changer didn't go through and check each CD as it normally does and now the display says "No Magazine," and the changer won't eject the magazine. I've checked everything mentioned in the posts on this, including the plugs but the changer makes no noise, does not attempt to check the CDs and is still hanging onto the magazine.
I've got an appt. scheduled to take her in to the shop Thursday but was hoping someone might have another suggestion before I do.
Thanks,
-robin

RE: Disco '00 CD changer problems
Usually the dealer in not set up to handle this problem, usually they sell you a new one or remanufactured one or send it out to an audio repair center. Do your self a favor and find a local audio shop that can look at it for you, this will be alot cheaper.
Good luck,
Mike
