Default cd changer problems

i have a 2001 discovery 2 se7 i bought a few days ago the cd changer wont work wont even eject i noticed there was fuses under the seat and there is one missing its the one closest the the console could that be the fuse for the changer if so wat amp is it

I don't know about the fuse, BUT I know when mine went south I had two screws that came out of the actuator arm that ejects the cartridge. I had to pull it out and take it apart. if you find out that it isn't a fuse they come apart very easy. mine was the alpine(don't know if there are other models) but I pulled it out apart cleaned fixed and lube the gears had it back installed in 1 hr

Anyone know if you can order parts for the CD changers? In specific, the gear that controls the arm that changes CD's?

Really if you want the stock cd player your going to need one out of a parts truck. I know they are on eBay and stuff like that. Don't think you will be able to find bits and pieces.
