So, I am getting a misfire in cylinder 6, I absolutely have some kind of exhaust leak, I was able to find some smoke coming out near bottom of manifold on passenger side. I used a icarsoft930 and attempted to pull codes and I could only get it to show me the diagnose code not engine code. When I went to clear codes I lost all gauges at the wheel and received an error code for an ECM fault. I am replacing the manifolds and cats this weekend but concerned about the other issues. Any help or opinions?

 

The "rough road" error is a generic cover for a SLABS fault. Not sure if your device can read those but if it can, you will find them listed under ABS rather than OBDII.
Gauges will always behave strangely when the scanner is connected and doing things to the truck.

 

I was able to read the abs but it only said I have something going on with the rear abs sensors or pad sensors

 

The message should tell you exactly which wheel. I don't think there are any pad sensors.

 

If you want to borrow my ABS amigo, that will tell you the exact codes.
