Default Help identifying part

Its linked to the secondary air system. Located under the hood on the passenger side right behind the coolant expansion tank. Its a black plastic round cylinder piece, slight bigger than a fist. It says vacuum on it. Has 2 lines attached to it, one on each side and is linked to the pennilum. Could not find it on Atlantic British and the sales rep says they do not carry it. Any thoughts?

It is call the secondary air vacuum canister
You're gonna have to get it from dealer, maybe check out auto zone for a simple ball type aftermarket one, find a used one.
leave it bypassed for the time being.

If can't find, consider Vacuum Reservoirs - SummitRacing.com ; or fab your own, it is just a closed container. It provides a stable source of vacuum to operate things even though engine vacuum may drop off. Lots of cars have them, old Fords had ones that looked like a soup can and was inside the fender wall, they would rust out and vac operated devices did not work right depending on engine speed. Sometimes adding a small vacuum check valve will also help, depending on application.

Well in any case I need one cause mine is malfunctioning and triggered a code: P141. Maybe clogged I dont know but I prefer a genuine replacement. Took a brief look on a LR dealership website and nothing came up for it so Ill call RoversNorth tomorrow to see if they have one.
