Have you tried playing with the dimmer wheel on the left side? Also have the lights ever worked before?

Yeah, makes no difference... Also lights worked until I was rewiring my head unit and then weren't anymore though I'm sure I didn't mess with anything as I had done this multiple times before...Also to note is when i turn the lights on the sub makes and subtle popping noise but works fine, any thoughts?

There is a ground in the driver footwell. Make sure it's tight and clean. Check the fuses as well. Encountered this issue a few years ago driving back from Pennsylvania in a snow storm. The ground was loose.

How do you open the footwell portion and what should I be looking for?! Thanks!

Fuses are under the dash panel. Footwell trim by the parking brake is escaping me at this time?

Footwell trim has a pop off and a screw type popoff plastic doohickey. You also have to remove the door gasket on the trim. I can't remember if you have to remove the trim at the bottom of the door opening but it should be obvious. Hmm. You may also have to remove the black trim just above the pedals.

My bet is the ground is loose. If not, check to make sure that all of your connections are tight on the dash pod. There are two screws just above the steering wheel that have to be removed and you pull it back... careful not to break the plastic retainers at the front. Then two screws on the dash pod left and right, and you will have access to the connectors.
