I had a coolant leak that was dripping down the bell housing. I was prepared to do the heads, it ended up being the valley gasket. When I removed the valley gasket, there was a lot of white residue form the coolant passages to the rear of the heads.

I ordered the following:
STC4082 - Head gasket kit
ERR29434SET - head bolts set
ERR6622 - upper intake elbow gasket (didn't use them)
ERR6434 - O-Ring Heater Pipe At Intake
ERR7202 - O-Ring Coolant Elbow At Intake
MGM000010K - throttle body heater kit
PEH101540 - Hose Coolant Intake To Throttle Body
RTC3347 - Hylomar
ERR6623 - Throttle body gasket (don't remember if it came in the head gasket kit)

I got the items form Rovahfarm

Here is a great overview of what you need to do: Engine Refresh (top end) | PaulP38A.com

I also replace the rocker arms and shafts because I has a tick.

Here is more info on that: https://landroverforums.com/forum/di...ft-play-60470/

Oil dripping from the bottom of the bell housing could also be a leaking rear main seal. If it looks like it's coming from above the bell housing then look at the valve cover gaskets, valley pan and head gasket.

If you do find that it is your head gaskets do yourself a favor and don't follow this kind of advice.

I "repaired" it with Barr's Leaks tablets.
This is an oxymoron if I've ever seen one. You didn't repair anything unless you replaced the blown head gasket. All you did is prolong the problem until it becomes a bigger one or more then one. Clogged radiator and heater core, are common with these repair in a bottle scams.
