Default Help with post lift questions

Hi all. Researched this but didn’t really find my issue exactly.

99 discovery.

bought this summer and car was converted to coil springs already.

only lights on dash were the 3 amigos.

All I did was changed all 4 coil springs, struts, and added 2 inch lift blocks. Terrafirma.

Issues :

after 2 weeks the front still looks lifted but the rear has sagged back to pre lift it looks. Blocks still in place.

also now every light is on. Hdc, hill descent, sls, off road warning light.

sag issue. I bought these coils from AB. Do I need perhaps extra “rough” ones for rear? Or is the car lower ring the rear now for some reason?

and lights. My mechanic didn’t touch and connections or sensors. Just removed coils and struts and put in new ones.

any help , advise id appreciate. Thnx

You replaced the suspension with Stock springs and shocks. Added 2" spacers all around? Did you take a pre/post measurement? I would take a measurement of all 4 wheels and find out where you sit. Park on level ground. Measure from the lower wheel arch to the middle of the wheel/emblem. Stock ride height is 19-19.5". I would also make sure your mechanic didn't install the rear springs up front and fronts in the rear. More importantly stock shocks in the rear could be maxed out with the 2" spacers. I don't know the length for the stock rear shocks but they could be too short/restricting your height. You may need to put some extensions on the rear springs. These will work
Rear Shock Extension Rear Shock Extension
If you don't have ABS extensions that could be a problem. It seems your at the limit but might be ok. Check your connections are not broke. I can't give insight for the previous air ride height and if it needs to be disabled with a NaNocom. Maybee someone will chime in with experience in that area. If the 3 Amigos were on previously.....did they get turned off with the proper code reader otherwise they can reappear. Nanocom or iCarsoft can access the ABS to reset. Not sure of ALL the code readers with this ability.

You need 2 in extended shocks, all four and as @Windycity_rover said make sure they install the springs in the correct positions, front and rear are different. If you plan on offroading get extended stainless steel brake lines and extended abs cables all four corners

My bet is the mechanic did bump or catch one of the speed sensor cables, and you really need to get the 3 amigos sorted out your disco is basically semi crippled for off road use without abs.

Thanks. Are those coil springs i got sufficient for the 2 inch blocks? Or I need to get better ones for a sag?

also I got these struts. They extended. Should get better ones you mean?

I guess also is there a way the disco itself can be lowering the rear end even if air was disconnected? I don’t know much about the air system. Thnx.

@Garrett Larrow ok you need to take some time and do a lot of educational reading on motor vehicles in general and Discovery II's specifically. You can not half *** your way through this stuff, and your questions show you are way out of your current ability and knowledge about vehicles

Those are stock length and functioning shocks and not suitable for anything other than an on road vehicle at stock height.
As to your air system question shocks and springs are a solid connection, there is no lowering or raising from the installed height, the air system is completely irrelevant.

Finally there is no cheap on this stuff, you need to spend the money. The average yearly repair budget for a 25 year old vehicle is 2500 to 3000 dollar, it will not always spend that much but on a new to you vehicle is is pretty average for the 1st year or two.

On suspension lifts you need extended medium duty shocks that will run you about 100 to 200 dollars per shock, 150 will get you decent ones.
