Also, if you don't do the flush, be sure you are using compatible coolant. If you still have the original type coolant, don't mix with another substitute, or you will end up getting plugged up. Savannah has all the info on that...

All is well! New thermostat installed, system bled, and the Disco is back on the road! The whole repair took 20 minutes, finding the part (the right one) took 24 hours! Thanks for all the help!

Glad to hear it all worked out. Listen carefully to what we on here describe as a waterfall/rushing water type noise under your glove-box. If you hear this "waterfall/rushing water" noise you still have air in the system and you will need to re-bled. Hopefully, all is well
