Help!!! with Tie Rod removal
I am in the process ofreplacing my steering box. In order do to so you must remove the tie rodend from the steering box . I amalso going to replace thetie rod ends while i am at it. I cant get the tie rods off. Ipulled the pin, removed the nut andattempted toseparate the tie rod end from the steering armwith my tie rod fork and it wont budge. On the outer tie rod I useda hammer and it wont budge. What am i doing wrong?

Two things I have done in the past: One - wedge your tie rod seperator in there and use an air hammer (an air chisel with a flat end tool) on the end of the screw. Two - give a wedgie again and heat the outside with a torch.
I changed one out in the Tennessee boondocks on July 3rd a couple of years ago with a crescent and a framing hammer on my F-150 after a day of ATV riding. Got real lucky on that one!

Yes use the tie-rod puller tool like okdiscoguy said. I've got two, they're usually less than $10 each. I've used mine 100's of times, well worth every penny! Should look like a claw/fork with a pointed bolt (to center it) in the middle. There are two or three different sizes. I use a smaller one one my Acura's/Honda's. I expect the Disco will need a larger one. If you live in an area where they salt the roads in winter soak the ball joint in WD40 for a while before hand.
