I'm very pleased with the one I got off you...That was what 2-3 years ago and probably 5-10k miles on the heavy pig that is my white disco. Have another on a shelf about to go in my classic if I can find the time.

This is good to hear. The one I got from you is what went in the Alveston, with the most notable difference being more stable temps. When I first got the Alveston and was just getting to know it, the cooling system did “OK”, but seemed way more finicky than my previous D2s. I attributed that mainly to the 4.6 vs the 4.0 as that debate wages, but didn’t really worry too much about it as the temps stayed fine after I changed all the other typical components.

However, the Flowkooler has kept the temps much more stable with fewer fluctuations as I previously saw. When I start on the Giverny, I’ll be using one in conjunction to some of the stuff from @Extinct (electric fan setup, and yes, I think I’ll even give the in line set up a go) just to see if I can get the machine to be more like a “normal” vehicle in not having a laser focus on temps at all times. The Giverny is going to be a bit of a test bed for me in trying some different stuff here and there and it’s purpose will be a bit broader than the Alveston over time.

Have joined the leaking water pump club this week. Have a Flowkooler on order.

Two weeks ago I was in the bad ignition coil club...

Dye detection worked really well to find my coolant leak.

I had a Meyle pump in mine. It did 75K+ miles.

Put Flowkooler one in today. Eye balling the UltraGauge coolant temps I would say the Flowkooler is a bit better at holding temp. I have an inline 180' thermostat.
