Default HID for Discos??

Has anyone installed a headlight HID kit on their Discovery? I want to buy one and just want to know what experiences those of you might have had.

Thanks

I know someone on here, about 99% certain it is Street Wolf, has installed HID headlamps on a D2. I just upgraded my standard headlight bulbs to Sylvania Silverstars and very impressed with the difference. I know they aren't HID but for $40 a pair I'm not expecting HID performance. Those Silverstars are bright enough that people think I have my high beams on when I don't.

Mike - Any chance you could post some info about the HID kit you are going to install? I would be curious what you went with and I'm sure others would be interested too.

Once I get the kit and information I will be posting.
This was given to me and a few other Rover people to try out for free.
I know the come in 35, 50 and 100 watt HID's running about 6 different colors of white, mine will be the 35's in the 6000 color range.
I'll get back to you.

He has given out the number of kits he had planned on, no more available at this time, but from what I am hearing, the retail price is pretty low, I'll let you know as I hear more.
