They are all probably made in the same factory in China. I have had good success from XenTec brand on eBay.

Make sure you get:
H7 compatible
5000k
Slim ballasts - that have been improved from the 1st gen larger ballasts
Dont touch the bulbs similar to Halogens.
I have a write-up install I will find for you
Mine have lasted about 2 years now and I like them a lot. I have them installed in Hi/Lo beams and fogs. You need a kit for each.

You have to drill out at hole in the the cap that goes on the back of your headlight.

All of the HID kits are 35w.
Thats the only size they come in.
The problem is the headlight housing, it was not designed to work with HID's so the light pattern is not correct and you blind oncoming traffic and people you are following.

the 55w kits are becoming increasingly popular

if you really want them you could retrofit some HID projectors into the housing. should be pretty straightforward with how simple the housing is.

4300k is really the only range you can go with without looking like a douchebag.

I bought a pair on ebay about 6 months ago & love them. Most of the inexpensive kits are all the same, just differnet sellers & packaging. I was on ebay loking tonight for a cheap set to replace my fog lights with & found a freakishly cheap set. I ought it for the other Disco and one for my fogs just to see if they were any good.

xeno HID KIT H1 H3 H6m H4 H7 H8/H11 H9 H10 H13 9004 9005 9006 9007 D2S D2R 6000K | eBay

$17 shipped. The reviews for the brand seemed mixed, but for $17 I couldn't resist.

Let me know if you actually get them... The seller has no feedback and it looks like this is the first thing he has sold... looks like a total scam to me.

Also this part....

1. Bulb Size (Not sure what size bulbs your car uses? Search for your vehicle's bulb application here.)
