Default high idle...then stalling

i've made some posts in the past year regarding my high idle problem. since then, i've changed my stepper motor, plugs and wires, vacuum lines, fuel filter, cleaned throttle body, cleaned maf, seafoamed, and probably a few more things i can't think of right now. when i first start her up, there's always high idle, (2000 rpm's). after a few miles, when i stop at a light, i have to use both feet. one on brake and the other to keep her idling or she'll stall. every now and then i don't have to do that and when it idles it pulses between 850 and 1100. also, from 0-45 there feels like there's a miss or a skip.
there's my conundrum. thanks for any help.
