Default High wattage headlight bulbs

Hello Everyone,
I have been looking at relacing my headlight bulbs with headlight bulbs that burn brighter but are also pull more watts. I have a99 DII. Raybrig and Polarg are two Japanese companies who make these style lights. The factory bulbs are 55 or 60 watts. The new bulbs would be 120 watts. Will this melt my factory wiring harness? Would the headlight lens have any problems if they produce more heat?

Regards

I run 85/100 watt Hella bulbs in my 99 D2 and have no harness issues after nearly 5 years.
