Default Hill Descend Mode and Feedback through Sound System

When the Hill Descend mode is selected there is a rather significant amount of audible feedback through the Land Rovers sound systems (static, crackling, popping, whines and whistles). Additionally, there is a loud “humming/ Buzzing” sound from behind the dash. I can tune it out pretty easy as I’m focused on the driving challenge at hand but the feedback in concert (no pun intended) with the noise and vibration of the ABS working is disconcerting to the passengers and makes for a pretty unpleasant experience for them.

The humming/ buzzing are not the same as the ABS modulator that I also hear and feel.

I seem to get the feedback regardless of AM, FM or CD playing at the time. Of course the simple answer would be to turn off the radio but I’m just curious if anyone else is experiencing this?

Sounds like a ground issue, are you still in warranty, if so I would let them deal with it.
Enjoy that 04.

Oh yes, plenty of warrenty left. And I still love the '04. Gas bill, insurance bill and whacky quarks and all!

Had it in some wicked snow and ice this weekend. Performed very well!
