Default Hitch Motorcycle Carrier on welded frame/coil shocks

Wanted to get an opinion before pulling the trigger on a hitch motorcycle carrier.

I have a 2001 discovery II that had the rear chassis welded because of rust. Looks like a decent job but not sure on support vs if the frame was in good shape. The previous owner also swapped out the air suspension for coil spring shocks - not really sure on quality of these.

I have a ~430 lbs motorcycle and the carrier will be ~80 lbs. I want to drive about 500 miles - mostly highway. I'll also be loading the interior with about 250 lbs and 1 passenger in front.

1) Do you guys think the tow hitch can handle that much weight?
2) Can the suspension handle that much weight in the rear?
3) Will the heavy backend cause issues with steering or safety of driving?

Thanks everyone!

Yes, yes, and you will know it's back there.
A trailer would make for a better ride.

Isn't the tongue weight cap 500 lbs? No idea of real world cap. 80 lbs for a hitch carrier sounds high. Aluminum ones come in under 40. Hate to see you drop a bike. Others will chime in with experience.
