Holy revived thread Batman! Anyway, I believe there is a 3d model in the 3d printed parts thread, or maybe on thingaverse. PETG or ABS would be good material.

old thread, real common issue...but i'm motivated to reply...here are some other sources: AB has some no name basic ABS looking buttons, 2 for 40$ or same thing from LK8 on ebay for 34$...or the CRA version from Ohio for about the same $. Or if you have skills and the right plastic glue, you could glue the leg back in place , or strengthen good legs, with a strengthening brace of ABS (use devcon plastic welder 2 part glue, amazing on ABS)........

If just one of the (4) legs broke off like it did on mine, you can wedge something on the opposite side of the button to push the not-broken leg over a bit and let it grip without springing back out. I happened to have a really thin metal washer that was slightly bent which gave it some width. I wedged that in there and you can't even see it. Maybe not a permanent fix but it's held for about a year now.

I fix the horn buttons on the D2s I owned by gently warming up the “legs” and bending them all out slightly and then installing after they cool. Haven’t had one pop out on me since.

Some good ideas here, I have long done the heat and bend, but I like the reinforcement idea.

Or my solution is to just not use the horn lol. Mine got jammed on once so I had to take it apart and I don't know what my dad did but he put it back together perfectly and it's been fine ever since and that was 2 years ago
