Does that key come out or does it permanently stick out like some sort of phallus?

First paragraph, second sentence from the link you supplied: "Stainless steel does not stain, corrode, or rust as easily as ordinary steel, but it is not stain-proof."

Second paragraph, forth sentence from the link you supplied: "Stainless steels contain sufficient chromium to form a passive film of chromium oxide, which prevents further surface corrosion and blocks corrosion from spreading into the metal's internal structure.

I would re-think your sales pitch

The Flexi-Clamp has been tested to best operate in a temperature range between -50 F and 300 F .

Yes, the key comes out. In fact you don't need the key at all. A lot of electricians use these to bundle wires because if they need to add an additional wire later, it is easy to take these apart with a cordless drill and a socket.

Hi mwindth,

Thanks for helping me make that correction. What should be said is that stainless steel is neither 100% stain or rust proof, but the Flexi-Clamp is

Currently the manufacturer has only tested the Flexi-Clamp to 300F. I have sold/installed their other products for almost 20 years and they are always very conservative with their testing numbers.
