How to activate SLS without engine installed
First off Merry Christmas to you all,
I am looking for a way to activate the SLS on our 1999 D2 so I can raise the rear of the truck again. As I have been working on our truck for some months now the airbags have slowly leaked and the rear is quite squatted. I need to do some exhaust and drive shaft work but have not installed our new engine yet so no signal from there and the SLABS needs that signal.
I tried connecting 12V directly to the SLS compressor and it clicks but no pumping, so the conclusion I came to there was the solenoid valves don't open with out a signal from the SLABS.
Has anyone been succesful turning on the compressor without an engine or found a way around this.
Thanks

Oooppsss...
Too much turkey I think...
I realized I had connected the 12V power to the exhaust valve electrical connector instead which would explain no pump turning on, but would still like to know if this idea will still work.
Thanks
