An 04 should be good with a CDL but maybe only in the case so you'll need to access underneath the truck. It'll be OK without the driveshaft but don't cane it around as it will be only a 2 wheel drive and CDL is not ideally suited to usage in 2WD I believe. Someone may have more info on that.

 

So the new shaft from Lucky 8 is greased and in. The truck runs nice and smooth.
