Default How do I kill the Bonger Alarm?

The bonging noise is killing me. I there a way to shut it off. It sounds like it is coming from under the instrument Cluster but I can figure out how to get it off without breaking something. Some help would be great.

I had a Jeep Cherokee that was obnoxiously loud. It drove me insane and wouldn't beep for the important stuff, but would beep at boring stuff like open door.

I could not find that damn speaker for my life. They hid it very well. I tried everything.

I'm so pleased my LR beeper is not so noisy.

But, no, I don't know where it is. Sorry.

Put duct tape over the grille of the chime - it will mute it nicely (it work on our kids' toys!).

It's inside the instrument cluster. I removed mine and now I've killed my battery are on, I like the tape over the grill idea.

I've seen people use duct tape on the kids as well. Seems to work, I could barely hear them after.

I found the alarm speaker in the instrument cluster and it is the black and red wire that plugs in on the right on top. I just unplugged it, problem solved.

The Bonger Alarm? Is this something that alerts you to do a bong rip?
