Default Radiator hose just exploded!

I get home come in an work on a research paper, and as im about to run an errand before work. I notice that my car has radiator fluid EVERYWHERE. All over my garage its a MESS. At first we had thought the entire radiator cracked and were like... omg. but after taking of the plastic piece that covers the radiator and inspecting there are no holes there, or signs of a leak. I then began feeling around the radiator area and sure enough find a loose hose.

I was like what could this go to and looked over to the left side of the radiator and found where it connected. When I pulled on the hose it came off from another hose! it was only about 2.5" long. I am now thinking WHAT THE HECK. I then grab the hose that the short one was connected to and it is the same size hose as the first one that was disconnected. It must have been ripped previously and someone had tried to jimmy rig it by putting the two small ones inside of one bigger one. They didnt use clamps or anything.
I now need to go to a car quest and re jimmy rig it. Only using adjustable CLAMPS to hold it together and when I get off work, I have a lovely mess of radiator fluid to clean up.

Thank you previous land rover owner! Just grand!

Just venting, Im pretty sure I found the problem area with the hose in two and wet stuff all over. the hose . Im just venting at how idiotic the previous owner must have been if he thought that by putting the piece in there without any kind of clamps it was going to hold. Thank god I was at my house when it broke down.
