when i bought my 2004 LR Disco 2, it came with an aftermarket JVC radio. How do i re gain the ability to control the radio unit volume from the steering wheel controls?
Also, there is a random USB cable that was there when i got it and no idea what it is for...Any thoughts?
To retain the factory steering controls you will need a steering wheel control adapter available at Crutchfield.com or various other sites, and the female usb is just an extension from the rear usb on the head unit , you can plug a phone charger into it and charge and play music
You just use the adapter or a steering wheel control kit made for the car and it comes with instructions , i Personally didn’t dint do it because it doesn’t bother me
