Most bottle jacks are the same, turn the jack on its side with the screw pointing up, remove the screw and fill it up. Bleed any air from the jack by raising the screw end.

when you say remove the screw, you mean the one that holds the pressure or the rubber fill plug?

Dont quiet understand the bleeding. Sorry for being ignorant.

The screw at the base of the jack, the one that you turn to lower the jack. If you turn it far enough it will come out, don't loose the ball bearing that is in there. The jack must be lowered and the handle must be down when you fill it, otherwise you trap air or overfill it. You need to get any trapped air out of the oil in the jack, so hold it upside down and let the air escape before you put the ball bearing and screw back in.

I dont have a ball bearing? It's just a screw that relieves pressure to lower the jack (unless I lost it when I accidentally removed the screw all the way causing the jack to spit out the oil and the screw along with the bearing while the truck was lifted by the jack?).

where do I get a bearing and what size is it?

I see you got the answer on LRO, the ball is 1/4" for those that are interested.
