Default How to remove shift ****?

i'm trying to remove the shift **** to replace the shift film indicator. i guess it came loose from the previous owner. i got to take everything off except for that (the whole middle console, e-brake, etc.) i'm thinking maybe the cover on top of the **** itself is covering a screw or something. i just didn't want to take it off if it isn't necessary.

i have a 1997 Discovery.

any help would be appreciated. thanks in advance!

Yes the cover in the middle top of the shifter is covering a screw. Pop it off and loosen the screw. Becarful not to damage it if you can.
